We have now implemented a new feature to allow you to password protect the files being uploaded & shared through the public upload function at Files.com.
This feature let's you securely share files with friends and workmates without the risk of unauthorized people stumbling across the file and accessing it.
To use this feature simply click the "more options" link and enter a password. The password will also be sent to any people that you automatically email the file to.
